Friday Morning Roundup

Man, tough day yesterday, eh?  Three deaths.  Farah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, and…what was the other one?  OH!  Blake Griffin’s will to live!  Well gang, it’s Friday, which means we’ll be watching the clock with one eye and the inbox with the other.  Why the inbox?  Because we’ve all got some vacation time coming up and we might take a few guest contributions over the next couple of weeks.  One caveat.  Just because you have an idea doesn’t make it a good one.  Don’t get all pissy if we don’t cream our togas over your idea.  Just come up with another one.  Anyways,  stylepointsblog@gmail.com if you want to try your luck.

Frankly, I don’t know what’s on tap today but I can announce that we may start throwing up a few off topic posts to get through the dog days of summer.  Please don’t judge.  Moving on…

Personally, this is how I’m going to remember him.  In fact, from this day forward I’m going to try to convince myself that he died in 1988.  There was a time when this guy was electric and taking all of his faults into account (and there were many) we still have a soft spot for Michael.  In fact, we’re going to go pour some Pedialyte on the block for him right now.
